Shuttle Bus Schedule
as of December 12, 2011 and still subject to change.

 

   
     Early Start Marathon* is at 4:30 a.m.
near Wailea Overflow Parking Lot

    The Marathon start time is 5:45 a.m. near Wailea Overflow Parking Lot

    10K & Half Marathon starts at 6:45 a.m. at Kamehameha Iki Park at 525 Front Street, Lahaina

    15K starts at 7:20 at Papalaua Beach (just north of tunnel)

    5K start time is 8:20 a.m. at Lone Palm Point, (AKA: Cut Mountain), 8/10 mile, south of Launiupoko Park

 

* Early Start is for slower marathoners or walkers who anticipate finishing over 6 hours.

* Early starters will run out of street lights before  the sun comes up if you are faster than 6 hours and you will not receive a time of faster than 6 hours. Wear reflective clothing and flashers and bring a bottle of water for the first 6 miles in case aid stations are late. Early starters will receive finishers medal and license plate frame, but not age division awards.

5:10 a.m.

Come down Wailea Iki Drive off of Hwy 31. Take first left onto Kalai Waa Dr. and right into free parking lot, or go around the parking lot to drop off marathoners at downhill side of Wailea overflow parking lot on Wailea Ekolu Place

Half Marathon,
15K, 10K & 5K 

Wailea Start Line,  15K, and 5K pick up

5: 10 a.m.

Depart Wailea Iki Drive with Half Marathoners, 15K & 5K runners by going back up to Hwy 31 and heading to Lahaina. Any empty buses go to Whalers Village for pick up.

Half Marathon,
15K, 10K,  5K

Kaanapali from Whalers Village

6:10 a.m.

Half Marathon start: 6:45 a.m.

After unloading,  bus will proceed directly to Whalers Village and pick up any runners there and bring them back to Kamehameha Iki Park for the 15K or 5K

6:35 a.m.

Full buses go to Papalaua Beach start line. Partial full buses stop at Kamehameha Iki Finish Line for pick up and then proceed to Papalaua Beach start area.

15K

15K start 7:20 a.m.

Take 15K runners to Papalaua Beach start area.

5K

7:35 a.m.

5K start 8:20 a.m.

Load 5k runners at take them south 3 miles to 5K starting line which is about a mile south of Launiupoko State Park.

 

There is no post race shuttle bus service.

There is local public bus service for a $1 or $2 ride. That will leave the Wharf Cinema across from the Banyan Tree Park just north of the finish line all the way back to near the Wailea Start line across the street from the Shops of Wailea. (After a bus change at Maalaea Harbor)

There is regular free bus service back to Whalers Village all day.
