Maui Oceanfront 5K


•Starts and finishes outside of Launiupoko Beach Park on H30.
•This is also the finish line for the other three races on Sunday.
•The last nearly two miles is closed to traffic for all the races.
•The 5K is a double-out-and-back.
•It goes north about a half mile, doubles back to the start area, and does another out-and-back.
•Your family and friends get to root for you three times as you pass the finish line three times.
•Parking is in a 55-space parking lot as you come down off the Lahaina Bypass at Kai Hele Ku St.
•If full, park along H30.
•Bring a beach chair, a towel, and your flip flops.
•Use your credit card at the food trucks at the finish line for post-race beach bumming.
•There is a shower at the finish line and flush toilets.
•Pick up your race number and t-shirt at the Shops at Wailea on Friday or Saturday.
•Don’t forget to do the free Cookie Run in Kihei on Thursday, 10 AM at Kalama Park.
•All finishers receive a finisher’s medal
•The overall winners are awarded.

The Finish Line is at Launiupoko Beach area and the 5K start.

1. At the traffic light, turn downhill (west) on Kai Hele Ku Street to Launiupoko Beach Park
​
2. Turn left into the parking lot near the bottom of the hill.
​
3. If the parking lot is full, turn right at the bottom of the hill and park along either side of the highway.

The Half Marathon starts at Maalaea on Maalaea Road behind the Union Gas Station & Carls Jr

1. Turn at the light at the Union Gas Station which is Kapoli St.

2. Turn right into the parking lot. It's $2/ hour , or free for Hawaii residents.

3. The start line is just down the hill to your left. Look for the flood light.

4. Post race you can be picked up by your loved ones from Launiupoko Beach or take the free shuttle bus back.

  The 6-Miler starts outside Ukumehene Beach Park.
 
1. No parking is allowed in this small parking lot for the race.

2. Have a loved one drop you off and then proceed north to watch you run and take photos.
​
3. Parking is available along the road north and south, with a walk to the start line area at Ukumeheme Park. Don't park in the sand unless you have four-wheel drive or a Tow Truck.

4. At the Launiupoko Finish line, have your waiting loved one take you home.
​
5. Or catch the shuttle bus to Maalaea and ask the bus driver to stop at Ukumeheme Beach Park.
